    Default Epicat Don Herman

This just opened today for the 1st time as it was a gift from a friend last year sometime. It has no scent but the colours alone have me hooked! It is a nice sz plant with flowers the sz of a 50 cent piece or a hair larger. There are 3 flowers opened & 3 more buds.

Oh Yes!! Those are some hot looking blooms! I have never seen that type before. Is it a small plant?

My plant isn't that tall .I would say minicat sz-perhaps 5 " high or so but I'm not sure if it will get bigger as it multiplies in the pot.So far it has stayed the same.

    That's really nice, Jane!

The weird thing is, just glancing at the flower casually, I would have immediately thought it was some kind of onc alliance, but it's obvious from the foliage and spike that it's Catt!

The flowers on all the Don Hermans I've seen were much more Catt shaped--no overlap at all between petals and sepals. Pretty amazing, I think, how different clones of the same grex can turn out--Jane, do you know the clonal name of yours?
