What a disaster! The first 2 spikes had 3 large buds each but they were so heavy that they drooped straight down when they came out of the sheath. I tried to manipulate the buds to get them upright to bloom properly and broke both the spikes off. That's 6 large buds that I lost. Oh well, what can you do.

    Beautiful!
Sorry to hear about the accident. I was watering my orchids earlier today, and broke off 2 forming buds of my venda when I took a turn in my tight fitting warm hut.

Congrats Jeff! Beautiful, Beautiful. So sorry you lost some buds, happens to the best of us.

WOULD YOU BELIEVE I have had this orchid for many years now, one of the first Catts. I ever bought. It came with the Tag Catt. Drum Brith It has never come into bloom in time for me to take it for competition, so it has remained with that tag. Thanks to you I now know what it is. Hallelujah!!!!
