Default Thank you, Rence.

As you may already noticed, not very many people are familiar with the genus Aerides.

From time, new variants of Aerides species crop up here in the Philippines, and for me that is a very exciting development.

That is the reason why given enough time, I always like to hang around the POS shows and the dawn market. You would never guess what treasures you'd see.

Dawn market or weekend market? Well most of the people go there are quite early..... I had also bought a lovely Hoya publicalyx in the last day of the POS show last September .

The most commonly grown Aerides in our place is Aeridres quinquivulnera , In my case i just mount it in our Manila Palm . About a month ago, I have also bought a Dendrobium aphyllum (cucullatum)also called fairy/ lesser sanggumay in the weekend market (Lung center) according to the dealer it had two varieties the light pink with cream lip and the white variety.
