Six spikes this year on this interesting Aussie orchid. They open lime green but quickly turn to yellow. Good enough to be best hybrid as well as best Dendrobe at Bournemouth Show on Saturday - also collected a Cultural Commendation, so it sat on the show bench surround by silver cups and medal ribbons. I bought it at the show last year, when it had 4 spikes . It quickly started two new growths, after the flowers faded, and the new canes ( an inch or o higher than the previous best) flowered, as did the same four which fowered last year. Long may it continue in this delightful way !

Don't water, not at all - until the new growths are say 4cm high, then start. Keep on until the canes/bulbs are complete. Then stop watering again until the spikes emerge - which may be 4 months or longer , and only give little water then.
