    Um....DROOL!!!!

I wonder...is this at all related to Cattleya walkeriana? I've had my sights set on one of the walkeriana types for a while now. Oh, wait... apparently I was too impatient to wait for an answer...I just did some internet digging and found that the coerulea form of the walkeriana is one of this guy's parents. So yes, I suppose they would indeed be related!

I hear that the walkeriana catts are quite beautiful in form and color, especially the alba form of the 'Pendentive' clone...but I'm drawn to everything blue, so I would probably go for the coerulea type like you! This one stays pretty small, too, right? It's fairly compact and doesn't get all sprawling and huge like some catts?

Anyway, GORGEOUS color on this one!! Now THAT'S a lip I'd love to kiss! Nice growing!

Yes, this is a compact growing catt. I mounted mine on driftwood as it didn't like pots in general. I have other plants with Walkeriana in them that are fine in pots....just not this one. I got lucky with the color as I ordered it out of bloom.
