    Cool Rhyncholaelia digbyana

I had looked for one of these for years. When I finally found one that was supposed to be blooming size I bought it and patiently waited. Finally, I have my first fuzzy flower. I noticed how thick the stem on this flower is and it obviously only intended to grow a single flower. Everything about this flower is amazing...it has no scent yet but today is it's first day fully open.

I think the trick is very high humidity and sunlight levels. The leaves are more yellow than green right now. Hang in there and yours will reward your patience someday...

I miss the citrus smell so beautiful and my plant never rewarded me more than one flower like yours.
