So nice to see a bracteosum blooming so far from its homeland. Nice alba form. Here we mostly mount our bracteosum. My pink variety (mounted) has been blooming continuously for close to 8 months but the alba form has refused to bloom. Wonder if it requires cooler conditions to bloom.

Congrats! still needs a bit more time to finish turning white with orange labellum. Did you know that they no longer use variety album and roseum? The accepted name for both is Dendrobium bracteosum

Interesting. Does this species typically bloom near the base of the canes as this one is?

The blooms usually start from the lower half of the p-bulbs but will move up towards the tip with subsequent bloomings. One p-bulb will produce multiple spikes and the flowers will last for close to 3 months here exposed to the elements. Because of the sequential bloomings the plants seem to be perpetually covered with flowers. I'll be posting pictures of my pink bracteosum soon. As I've mentioned earlier the white variety still refuses to bloom though it is the same age and size as the pink.
