Default Rlc. (Pot.) William Farrell 'Amigo', HCC/AOS

    Hi everyone -

This is Rhyncholaeliocattleya (formerly Potinara) William Farrell 'Amigo', HCC/AOS (C. Helen Veliz x Rlc. Llano). Not having my OrchidWiz resources, or my orchid library here in Florida, I honestly can't say a lot more about it. It's a fairly common Catt. hybrid. I have searched the internet and found many apparently more vibrant versions of it, but the clone I have is delicately colored. HOWEVER, it smells heavenly - a little citrus, a little gardenia - I don't know - those are just guesses. Anyway, it's a huge, gnarly beast with another sheath just appearing and should probably be repotted, but it won't be unless I drag it home with me to Atlanta - we'll see.

Great shots Maura of a gorgeous catt !!! Lovely lighting - that last picture exudes such a vibrant glow and life that it's almost 3 dimensional.
