Default Rlc (Blc) George King ‘Serendipity’ AM/AOS

This is one that I purchased years ago as a big box store baggie. It has such a wonderful old-time rose fragrance. It can perfume a whole room. The flowers are usually spaced nicely and rarely crowded. They open a soft pink and over the first few days, progress toward a salmon-peach color. It blooms a couple times a year. It was registered back in 1970 but still can be found for sale. There is also a yellow clone 'Southern Cross'

Oh, Ron, I LOVE George King!!!! How beautiful your clone is! And it blooms twice a year? I didn't know that was possible. Is it due to your awesome expertise, or do some catts just bloom more than once a year?

    Gorgeous Photo!

Some Catts just bloom twice a year, I believe. I get a late winter blooming and a late summer blooming on this Catt

    Love the color too!

I have both "southern cross" and "serendipity", bought as seedlings a couple of years back. The southern cross bloomed the first time last year, I am still waiting on serendipity to bloom.
