    Default Pot. Hawaiian Prominence 'America'

This mini-cattleya is a dark, dark red with an orange throat. The flowers are 4.25" across. It has a very pleasant spicy fragrance. The plant is in bad shape because it was under a tree infested with white fly but it still bloomed. It has only bloomed once a year for me although I've heard that it can bloom more often.

The flowers are a standard to aim at. Such a deep dense colour. I love it.

Totally in love with this cutie. TOTALLY. IN. LOVE. And I'm not usually a fan of the warmer-colored catts! Anyone who thinks orchids are fragile plants should take a lesson from your tough cookie!! Nice growing!!
