Default Vasco. Five Friendship X Rhyn. coelestis Pink ????

I posted a Pic. of this orchid some time in 2011 with a tag that said Ascda Tan Chai Beng. Of course My friends here on the Forum alerted me that the Tag was incorrect, and gave me a few suggestions as to what it could be. Nothing panned out at that time.
I am posting it again, with hopefully better shots, hoping that someone will agree or disagree with the Tag i have decided to give it.
    Do let me know.

Beautiful Angela. I can see the coelestis influence here.

Though the coelestis influence is strong, I have to disagree with the tag you made. Vascostylis Five Friendships is a R. coelestis F1 offspring, when it is crossed back to R. coelestis, the line breeding is so heavy that the resulting hybrid named Vasco. Five Friendships Pretty is almost identical to the R. coelestis. Secondly another thing to note is that the flower has influences from a Vanda and not likely an Ascocenda, almost all Vascostylis (Vanda x Ascocentrum x Rhynchostylis) have a very rounded shape to the petals, on the other hand Vandachostylis (Vanda x Rhynchos) have similar shape to this one with slightly narrower petals, a much open form and flowers bigger than the R. coelestis. My guess is that it is a Vandachostylis x R. coelestis.

I'm not entirely sure that the tag is wrong. It does bear some resemblance to both the orchids listed on the tag. I agree that you would expect a little bit different flower shape and flower spacing but you never know what you'll get with a cross.

Amey, Thank you for your comments/observations. I have spent the last 18months looking and trying to find this name, only because the plant is a prolific bloomer, and I really like it.
I did notice, as you have pointed out, the 'pointy' petals as compared to all rounded petals of the ascda.
I think its time to give up and just call it pretty.
In the next few months, as they bloom I am going to compile an photo album called 'My NOID Gallery". It will be extensive and very beautiful!!!!!
Thanks again, we can always depend on you for a meaningful input.

I looked up the cross in OrchidWiz. Vasco. Five Friendships x Rhy. coelestris = Vasco. Five Friendships Pretty. The flowers look smaller, rounder and closer together on the spike. So I think Amey is correct that this must be a different cross. I do agree that it's very pretty though. Is there any fragrance?
