    Default Lc. Big Dipper

This orchid (a cross of Lc. Little Dipper and L. sincorana) has been staring me down for the past 2 weeks, trying to get my attention, and failing. I don't know what it is about cute, pert, little mid-size catts that they just don't grab me. This is a perfectly pretty hybrid. The colors are fresh and clear, the plant itself is the healthiest one I have - of course. And I nearly missed it blooming because I was so taken in by my other orchids (and a few other things going on in my widow's existence). Anyway, I caught it before the third bloom completely collapsed. No scent to this thing, which is a little weird because its close relative, Lc.Garrett Collins, has a very nice fragrance. Anyway, here it is - it took up the best part of my light today because I wasn't paying careful enough attention to the sun.

Quite nice. Reminds of Cookara Bill ... though that one is fragrant.

Very nice photography Maura, this color also somehow does not attract me to a Cattleya.
