Dear orchid lovers,
Basically, I prefer a moth like orchid, or phalaenopsis, but growing phal is demanding due to hot and dry temperature in my city. Then, I try to grow dendrobium. This Dendrobium archipelagense is a tall orchid with spiral petals (which are not my interest). Yet, after seeing it growing well and blooming, I love this baby. Enjoy.
I am always amazed at the different conditions orchids can grow under. Perhaps some of our members will know of a few plants that will grow well for you. Meanwhile, that dendrobium is gorgeous. I am partial to the way the bottom sepals are shaped. Very pretty!
