Cool Epilaelia Snow Fantasy and Epicattleya Atrowalker

These two look amazing sitting together on the bar. Snow Fantasy has been here for over a year. While Atrowalker is newer, and arrived in spike. I added my new Phaiocalanthe at the end. Things are starting to pop out back. I am almost done repotting and that is a good thing since summer and humidity seemed to have arrived early this year.

Definitely see the Epi in these crosses -- that form always seems to dominant. For two different crosses, the colors are very well matched.

Saw some nice Phaios at the shows this year. Nice flowers but definitely not a plant for those of us who are space challenged.

I was suprised at how small this one is. It probably measures a little over a foot tall...not really larger than the average oncidium.

I think I must be an idiot, but the first two epis look SO similar to me - what are the parents, just so I can sort this out a bit....

Thanks Ron...I was gone earlier, although I do finally have my copy of Orchid Wiz. Woo Hoo...lol. And yes they look a ton alike Maura. I noticed that when the first flower opened on the newer plant.

Connie the Epicat Atrowalker lip is so beautiful exactly like species of Cochleanthes amazonica and love the Phaiocalante.
