Cool Cattleya mossiae var semi-alba 'H&R'

This opened overnight. It has the most wonderful scent this time around. I also added picture of Mr. Vickers at the end. Vickers has bloomed with the man on the lip wearing a bowler cap....and this time he appears to be enjoying his pipe. I am loving this plant, lol!

I was invited to join the Orchid Society here because I was told I would get cheaper plants than what I would get outside for(300-350tt) equivalent about 55us, craziness for a vanda and dendrobiums are about 150tt each- 25us not buying that if it was the last one on earth and I was a millionaire, so I will let you all know when I join what I pay, there is an Orchid show coming up on 11th-12th May, can't wait I will try to get some pictures of their orchids too.

Beautiful mossiae, Connie! I really like your second photo showing the wonderful details inside the lip. Nice Gordon Vickers, too, much more colorful than mine.

You will find other members willing to trade for divisions, members selling plants that are hard to find otherwise, and usually at rates that mean you can afford them. It also brings you into a group that can help speed up your learning process. It's always nice to have friends that speak orchid. Sometimes your family and friends get a little tired of hearing about those plants over and over. lol To them it sounds like we are talking about dinosaurs or something. I look forward to seeing your new plants...your location should assure some amazing pictures.
