    Default Dendrobium Gatton Sunray

This very popular hybrid is blooming at my house at the moment and I'm glad that one of it's parents (D. pulchellum) is also blooming now. Thanks for viewing .

I love Gatton Sunray. Such a dependable bloomer and a very tough plant: it's almost impossible to kill. Very pretty pulchellu as well. I just recently managed to get a small plant from a friend.

I guess so though we don't have cool nights here in the tropics but the temperature diff. is bigger here when it's rain. Mine doesn't seem to have any specific season to bloom. .

Here in Malaysia it does not need any change in temperature to bloom. A well grown clump of plants will bloom several times a year even from the old leafless canes as long as it gets plenty of light, even to full sunlight. It is very easy to grow it into a specimen plant.
