Default Vanda tessellata x Vanda densoniana

I've had this for about 4 months, first time it has bloomed for me and 2 spikes, first one opening. I wonder if the tag is correct, it is also labeled Golden Doubloon, when I do a search for Doubloon I find very different photos, from a light brown tessellata with a pink lip to an all yellow bloom that looks more like a Mokara. Actually I think my plant looks more like Tessellata var. Flava, very fragrant, in the morning and evening it is a light creamy scent, by afternoon a stong lemony, citronella scent. Blooms are more yellow in center and green towards the edge. My flowers do match the photo that was posted from where I bought this , so I'm very happy with the outcome.Name: tess x den 2 (Copy).jpg

That's so pretty with a clean presentation. I just wish we could smell it, too. Thanks for sharing this one, Ed.

Thats beautiful! It looks chartreuse in the photos. Whether it fades to more yellow or maintains the green edge its still gorgeous

Stunning. Such clear colors. And it just has to be fragrant too! WOW!
