    Great display bechinolina!

I love that plant but I don't think it's Den. anosmum. I have Den. anosmum (both the normal and the alba varieties), Den. parishii and Den. Nestor (which is the hybrid of the first two). Den. anosmum and Den. Nestor are often confused and there are many pictures on the net that are definitely wrong, but from my own experience I think your plant is Den. Nestor. Your plant is definitely not Den. parishii, which looks like a short fat dwarf of Den. anosmum with very shiny flowers. Since your plant has at least 10 canes, it should be producing full-sized canes by now and the canes in the picture are short for Den. anosmum. The most important hints, however, are the size and shape of the flowers. Den. anosmum has bigger flowers (at least a third bigger than those of Den. Nestor), that are not very shiny, with a much larger lip in relation to the flower and thinner petals and sepals. The petals in particular have a tendency to not open widely and generally point slightly forward and down. Den. Nestor on the other hand has fuller flowers that are shiny, open more widely and with a smaller lip, all of which are traits inherited from Den. parishii.

I actually prefer Den. Nestor. In my opinion Den. Nestor has nicer flowers, smells just as good, is more willing to produce flowers along the whole length of the cane under our dull UK conditions and it takes up a lot less space.

Anyway, regardless of the exact name, the important thing is you have an absolutely gorgeous plant there.
