    Default V. sanderiana

Here is a first-bloom sanderiana species vanda. There is quite a story about how this plant was "discovered" by a Brit! If it weren't for the earthquake he never would have found it! Check out the filtered photo from Microsoft Digiatal Image Pro!

    Enjoy,

Vow!!! Beautiful blooms. I have been thinking for a while getting one of these V. sanderiana. I wonder how you grow and bloom it. Since you are in VA(?), it must have been grown in a greenhouse? How hot do you keep the greenhouse during the winter? Thanks for sharing.

DEFINATELY greenhouse grown during the winter. Summered outside with plenty of watering/misting. Min summer temp is 65 or so. Grown with Phals but with MUCH more light!

    GET ONE!!!

    Wonderful Garland!!!

And I love the different "pics", the last one reminds me of a watercolour.

I'd so love to be able to grow one of these but with no greenhouse (yet! ) I will have to just keep looking and admiring your photos.

    Cheers

Me and you Tim. If I ever get a greenhouse, VANDAS. Garland, that is so beautiful.

    Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.
I hope mine is as grand as yours when it blooms one day! Mine is still fairly small but growing very well. I keep it in my livingroom by the brightest window and I keep the humidifier going, so I don't even need to have it in a greenhouse.
