Another of my cattleyas on wood. Just starting to root, here and there - maybe 3 or 4 growths, but this one flowering ( with one damaged petal) is the only one flowering at the moment.
    Heavenly perfume !

Nice indigo coloration. Also like how it is rooting to the wood. The flower form doesn't seem to be as "full" as the regular Mini Purple. Out of curiosity, Geoff, is the scent the same as the regular Mini Purple?

Ah well, just curious as I strongly dislike the smell of the regular Mini Purple.

I don't think you would dislike this one ; but I have to admit that when I checked up on the cross - via Orchidwiz, and looked at the pictures of various examples( I like to put the parents on the label, too) the thought in my mind was "is this really a Mini Purple ?"
But the dealers label was plain so I gave it the benefit of the doubt.
