    Default Blc Chunyeh #1

I have several varieties of Blc Chunyeh and this one, Blc Chunyeh #1 is one of the most floriferous. There are 4 flowers on the spike and the flowers measure nearly 6 inches. Most Blc Chunyeh have been awarded and I understand this clone too has been awarded. To me the prettiest of the Chunyeh's is the var 'Tsen-wen' and is the least hardy of the lot. This characteristic was confirmed by the breeder from Taiwan when I visited her stall at the World Orchid Conference held in Singapore in 2011. She had one weak looking plant with the most gorgeous blooms at her stall. Unfortunately I killed mine some years ago.
