Default Vanda Insignia X Vanda Tesselleta

Vanda wise I believe I've had better years. We had Major forest fires 9 miles from here that blocked sunlight for much of three weeks in June and now were in the rainy season (which is a blessing) though we get alot of mostly cloudy days. I'm not sure this is the cause of the lack of Vandaceous blooms, but its a factor at least. This is this Vanda's second year blooming. Six flowers. Hope you enjoy. AL

You know Katherine when I started growing orchids I had hoped for the day that out of the 80 or so plants, lets say a big majority of them would be in bloom at the same time making my green house, along with my Tropical bushes a real paradise. My only disappointment is that I don't know if it will ever be that good....................I have about twelve orchids in flower or spike currently. Don't get me wrong this in itself excites me, but ALL of my Tropical terrestial bushes are in full bloom in comparison. Thanks for all your nice compliments! AL

You got a nice one there, great color and lip. I thought like you did about the number of plants being in bloom at once, but I've found I get a year round display , I may have some slow weeks in winter, there is usually something budding something blooming and something on the way out, not the grand display I thought but I like it, looks like you are doing a fine job.
