Default First Dendrobium anosmum for this season

My first Dendrobium anosmum for this season is from my best plant, the one with the darkest pink-purple blooms and sepals and petals that do not curl up a lot.

The skies were becoming darker when I tried to take the shots from a stepladder, since the plant was too cumbersome to take down for a glamour shot
. Plus, there was also a good breeze. However, the pictures came out well enough, with backdrop of scaled Vanda sanderiana leaves. (Scales long since dead from malathion sprays.)

An unpretentious plant, it blooms with a fragrance that can be overwhelming when dozens of flowers are open.

    Default Thank you, guys.

I have about a dozen canes all dropping leaves, Gin; I was surprised this one bloomed so early.

I hope to have anosmum blooms well into Febtruary. The scent in the growing area is just wonderful right now, with this cane and the Vanda lamellatas.

Default Thank you, Jason & Lore.

Lore, anosmums are not expensive. They're also very easy to grow, and from my experince, one of the fastest growing orchid plants.
