Is it new vanda species?

    Hard to tell from your pix, other than the more elongated mid lobe. You also have to compare the back lobes, can't see it clearly on V.hindsii, next would be the spur and plant itself.
    But so far, i would conclude it to be a variation of it and if no other specimen are at hand, perhaps it shows only in that clone of yours.

    Zain, when you mentioned it was collected on an orchid hunt & in the islands, this would in part explain the variation. Any species collected from such a wide distribution area would imo, have differences to some degree. I say this because this rule applies to so many other orchids, why not this.

    Yes, correct Roy. If ever, a varietal/species status can be given, if a good number of plants have been observed in the wild, showing the same features.
