    I've been trying to get the pink form but they are harder to get here than the alba form. Here they can bloom at any time of the year on the older leafless canes. Yes they do get a lot of attention at orchid shows.

    The dark in the center look like eyes to me.

    To me that dark intense green is what makes this orchid so attractive.
