Default Lc. Trick or Treat x Blc. Love Sound

    Hi Julie,
It looks like you have lof of fun with this thread, eh?

I have mostly clones although sometime a cross like this blooms. As Julie once put it, this mini-catt is a floof wanna-be, designed for windowsill growing.
    Cheers. Hoa.

    Default Lc. Mari's Love

One of my first catts. It still retains lot of species charm.

    Default Cattleya amethystoglossa 'Orchidglade' AM/AOS

Pretty slim picking this week although many are still in bloom or in buds.
This plant is considered as one of the best clones of the species!
    Cheers. Hoa.

    Ohhh
I just got this one - Blc. Momilani Rainbow 'The Gypsy' - mine is not in bloom and I don't think it's close to being in bloom either. It's much smaller than my blooming ones, but it's got some growth.... I'm very excited to see it bloom!!

    Hi Julie,
Many of the catts shown here are fertile, including the cattleya amethystoglossa 'Orchiglade' and the Lc. Midred Rives 'Orchidglade'. They have been used as parents before and the results have been quite fantastic.
Interested in breeding some new catts?

    Tikva,
Nice purchase. I like that Monilani Rainbow. It is a very rigorous plant so the chance that you will kill it is quite remote!

    Cheers. Hoa.

    Hi Hoa,

I was asking more about the name, Orchidglade, and wondered where the name came from. I thought that might be the name of the breeder that registered these clones.

I am interested in remaking that cross named after my grandmother. I don't know if you saw my most recent post on that: http://www.rv-orchidworks.com/orchid...34507#poststop

    Julie,
I don't think so. I have seen lot of clones with the word 'Orchidglade' and many of them appear to originate from certain breeder but I also have seen certain clones with the same clonal name coming from different places. I think that people just like the term 'Orchidglade'! I also just responded to your other thread. I did not realize that you had a recent post in it.
    Cheers. Hoa.

Default Blc. Triumphal Coronation 'Seto' AM/JOGA

A behemoth of the floofy catts! A big plant with 10 in. plus giant and very fragrant flowers, it is very prolific and always blooms around this time of the year!
    Cheers.
