Thanks, Bruce, Jason, Diane, and Julie!!! Sometimes, you guys' comments crack me up!!! Diane, maybe at some point you could visit my place and the greenhouse so you don't have to be a lurker anymore! Hehhehhe!!! It could be a long drive though so it's best if you have other business to be in or around Orange County. And Julie, you are not the only one needing a floofy fix ... Hehhehe but I won't tell and name names ... Hehhehehe

    Default Brassavola nodosa var. grandiflora

Well, this nodosa variety has blooms twice the size of the type of the species. I did not notice it until people in my orchid society exhibited their plant and I thought their blooms were so small?

As you guys can see in the picture, it is indeed much bigger! Lovely night fragrance!
    Cheers. Hoa.

Default Bl. Richard Mueller x C. Landate

Interesting hybrid! The blooms change color as they age. Fragrant but only a few hours during the day.

Default Lc. Chiou Jye Chen 'Fong San #1'

A very unusual big floofy catt. It appears that a mutation gives this catt its splash petals but also makes one petal longer/larger than the other one. When this one bloomed 2 years ago, I thought it was just a developmental abnormality (Picture 1). It blooms again this year with the same feature but instead of the left petal, this time, the right petal is the one with this feature (Picture 2)! Still very pretty!
    Cheers. Hoa.

Gosh, Hoa... you've got pretty floofs flowering full time for the year!

Anytime, they relax quarantine laws and you feel like sending that Giant nodosa, I'll be here waiting....

    all beautiful as usual!

Cool...he even has a "trick Cattleya" department!

I love the Richard Mueller color shift! My RM hybrid is spiking again and I'll try and get the before and after shots.
