Hey, Doc Spock - great to see you around! When is your next triathalon? I've been thinking healthy, aerobically-fit thoughts in your direction, as I've been getting back into serious bagpipe practice for a late Sept games I've signed up for.

    PS - Love the labiata!

    Hellooooo McFloofFodder,
I am glad that you find your way out of the giant floofs... Hheheheeee ...

Thanks for the good thoughts sending to my direction. I have lost at least an inch around the waistline because of all the swimming and running! This thing is in october. It's not too big and I still have many weeks to go. Many of my friends are doing it and since I am also a pretty good swimmer and a decent biker/runner so I will give it a shot!
Hope you have fun practicing all the bagpiping! How is your finger? You are OK with that?
    Cheers. Hoa.

    Default C. Angel Bells 'Suzie'

A very nice large white catt with great scent! I think I have two plants of this grex. This plant somehow is much much bigger and has much bigger flowers!

Default Blc. Lucky Strike 'AV Orchids'

Burgundy-red catt! It appears that this Lucky Strike cultivar is very different from the one I posted earlier. Smaller flowers but great color!
    Cheers. Doc Spock.

    Default C. bowringiana var. coerulea

Fall is coming and fall-blooming catts just start showing off their beauty!
The main blooming season for this cattleya species is fall although my other bowringiana plant blooms twice a year! This plant is grown from seed so it is certainly not the best out there but still pretty!
    Cheers. Doc Spock.

A gorgeous large coral-rose catt, i.e. the flowers have tint of orange-red color! Very nice scent too!

    Default Pot. Burana Beauty ‘Burana’

Everyone has this one so I have it too. Easy growing plant, it blooms twice a year. This time, it blooms with two leading growths. This lead gives me a head of >10 flowers!
    Cheers. Doc Spock.

Default Lc. Pirate King 'Port Wine'

A gorgeous cultivar with deep dark yet vibrant/iridescent purple flowers! Very hard to capture this type of purple color, must see it in person to truly appreciate its beauty! Maybe this is what they call 'Royal Purple'? But I think I have another even darker purple color catt, which could be the true 'Royal Purple'.
    Cheers. Doc Spock.
