Hoa, Wow! The Lc. Pirate King 'Port Wine' is so nice! I think we have the purple one you mention in bloom now too. I will try to photograph it this weekend along with my 'new' plants to share. Thanks for sharing all of these beautiful catts!

    Cheers!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful Hoa! Thanks for letting us enjoy vicariously! Do you have orchids blooming all of the time, or do they come in spurts for you?

And Bruce, we are eagerly awaiting pics of your new babies. Preparing to be very jealous!

    Hi Timmy,

Thanks! I still have lot more catts yet to be shown off and other orchids too! Heheheeeee!!!

    Hi Bruce,
I wish I could capture the color better. Lightning might be the key but when taking the pictures in a very bright greenhouse, they all appear very similar in the photos. I am glad that you like the Pirate King. The purple color from this clone is quite exceptional, no surprise that they name the clone "Port Wine".

    Hi Cin,

Thanks. I was surprised to see the size of the Angel Bell's flowers. I like the Angel Bell and the Pirate King, both of them very much.

    Hi Mehera,

Thanks for your compliments! Well, I do have orchids in bloom all the times, a dozen or more in bloom at any moment! When it is in season, like during spring or fall, the number of orchid in bloom could shoot up to at least two dozen plants or so. For example, at this point, plants in bloom, besides the catts, I also have four oncidiums (2 species and two hybrids), 3 dends in bloom (one species, 2 hybrids), one vanda, one paph, a few knick-knacks (an aerangis species, an encyclia species), and a few phals.

    Hi McJ,
Thanks! My triathlon won't happen until October, a few more weeks to go! BTW, you crack me up again! Nice choice of words! Flooferama!!! Hehehheee!!! I could not post other floofs currently in bloom because their pictures already posted earlier! Very Floofiferous, FLOOFIFEROUS, FLOOFIFEROUS!!!

    Cheers. Hoa.

excellent spread, as always! I am partial to the dark purples of the Port Wine--you simply cannot capture that glowing magenta on film!

'Pastoral Innocence' doesn't look so innocent with that little smear of 'lipstick' on its lip.
