I for one too, am very pleased to see a definition of floof, flooftastic and floofy. Now all we have to do is convince the Oxford English Dictionary to accept it too!

    Hi Cin, Elena, and Kerry,

    Thanks!
Here are the names of the orchids that follow the floofs:
    1) Tol. Sniffen 'Jennifer Dauro' FCC/AOS
    2) Possibly onc. altissimum
    3) Wils. Memoria Gerald Lawless
    4) Onc. sarcodes

    5) Dend. cretaceum
    6) Dend. aphyllum
    7) Dend. topaziacum
    8) Dend. fimbriatum var. oculatum (Cin, I believe it is the orange dend that you inquired.)

    9) Psychopsis Mendenhall 'Hildos' FCC/AOS
    10) Phal. philippinense
    11) Aerides rosea
    12) Vanda hybrid (I have the cross name but it is so long ...)

    Cheers. Hoa.

    Default C. mossiae var. coerulea

Well, it is time to resurrect this long running mega-thread with more floofs and floofs-wanna-be. Lucky that I manage to bloom a few more that have not been posted here! Heheheheee ...

The coerulea coloration of this variety is not as strong as others but it is still quite pretty in an unpolished way!
    Cheers. Hoa.

    Default Cattleya dolosa

A miniature species with gorgeous flower and even more gorgeous fragrance! A single small flower is enough to permeate the whole section of the GH with its intoxicating aroma, especially when it is bright and warm!

Default Epc. Purple Glory 'Moirs' Pride' AM/AOS

A cross between an epidendrum and a cattleya, gives rise to this epicatt (Epc). Intense purple with long straight upright spike!
