Magnifique! Vraiment de belles fleurs...
and what a pretty song... I can imagine that the spring weather and blooms would bring out such passion when remembering 'home'.

THANKS, Bruce! Sorry for the slow reply but as long as you enjoy looking at them, it's all good. I hope you like the song and don't mind there are other orchids in this thread besides the catts!

And...I have to know what the purple catt in the top left photo of the first group you posted is!

THANKS and thanks!!!
The first group of photos??? You know that the first group of pictures is posted in the previous page and in this group, there is no purple catt? You should check it out too since I also include a link to a very nice song!
However, if you are refering to the post on top of this page, then the purple catt is C. skinneri. This is a special variety with very intense lavender color. I posted the name of this variety in this thread when it bloomed a while back.

Hi there, THANKS!
The dend you are refering to is Dendrobium Delicatum var. kestevenii, a natural hybrid, collected in 1930 on Alum Mountain at Buladelah, New South Wales, Australia. The color is creamy white with a hint of pink.

THANKS, Cin!!!
Well, we used to grab the blooming orchids together and showed them in the living rooms. Many of my parents' female relatives would stop by and posed for pictures with the orchids. My mom, aunts, sisters, and cousins would put on make-up and even some dress and did some glamour shots. I used to call these sessions, "Beauty and the Orchids"! The good old day!
