Default Blc. Orange Show 'Cloud Forest'

First, thanks Shalene, Julie, Maggie, Jason, Lore for lovely comments! I wish my catt blooms are candy too, at times!

The flowers just fully open for this intense orange color catt! Cheerful color of this catt blooms should brighten your gloomy winter days and pull you out of whatever funk you are in!

    Cheers. Hoa.

    Default Cattleya shroederae

Slim picking this week but we got quite a bit of gorgeous species charm!
The pink-lavender blooms with golden-orange throat from this cattleya species are very pretty. I have at least three different clones. This one, the flowers are much larger but the orange throats are not as intense. Nice fruity fragrance though!

Default Cattleya intermedia var. aquinii subvar. coerulea

Cute blooms! Intense violet (coerulea) splash on the petals and lip! The flowers just open as well!

    Thanks, Julie and Jason!

    Diane,
The cattleya shroederae is not difficult to find. If you really want it, I could PM you about where to find it. I got this species first as a seedling, but it died on me. That was before I got the greenhouses. I do much better with these guys after I built the greenhouses. So this species is clearly an intermediate grower (it does not like temperatures below 50s F).
    Cheers. Hoa.
