    Default Orchid Naming Question

I sprung for one of those orchid database CD's and am having lots of fun checking up on all sorts of plants.

I noticed that the Lc. Mildred Rives 'Orchidglade' that Hoa was showing off (and that I'm drooling over) won an AM/AOS in 1984, and then an FCC/AOS in April '05. Does that mean all the 'Orchidglade' cultivars would now carry the FCC in their name, replacing the AM?

    Woa !!!!
Julie, that is an amazing find! Of course, from now on, that plant, the Lc. Midred Rives 'Orchidglade' will have the FCC/AOS award after its name! Too bad, I could not modify my post any more!

Thanks and thanks! You must really really like that plant, eh?
    Cheers. Hoa.

Yessiree, Hoa! I'm stalking Mildred Rives (the well-heeled 'Orchidglade', of course!)

I'm not likely to see one for sale at the NH Orchid Show preview tonight, but I have my on-line source lined up. I'm waiting to see what I come home with, and then I'll place my supplementary order in the morning.

    Wahoo! Orchid purchases loom!!!

So Julie, what did you end up buying? Got that Midred Rives?
    Cheers. Hoa.
