My first new posting for some time ; my wife has been poorly, and spending 4 hours every day traveling to and fro visiting her whilst she was in intensive care ( I went twice a day,) left no time for anything more than a quick splash over all the orchids now and then. Now she is home again, albeit not her normal self, I have a little time ( and am shocked to discover how rapidly pests multiply and disperse throughout the collection in a few weeks of warm sunny weather..I have started cleaning every plant individually , but with a lot to do , that is not going to be done in less than months, by which time the first ones may be reinfected...

But to the Potinara - now getting nicely established on a small branch ( maybe Elderflower ? ) so that the latest, and flowering bulb is the biggest yet. It pleases me !

What great flowers. I am glad to hear that your wife is home and somewhat better. I can see you have alot on your plate and its not easy to play catch up with the large orchid collection you have.....................If it were me I'd feel rather overwhelmed and that's putting it mildly. All the Best Geoff ! ! AL

I hope your wife's health is much improved by today. Lovely blooms. I have this orchid, but my tag says Pot Hoku Gem 'Freckles' (Actually my tag still says BC ).

    Cheers,
