    Default Dendrobium North Star ?

    i recently mounted a division of this dendro on a huge branch...got it from a friend and it is bloom...it is currently in spike from the last cane and its a beauty of an antelope type...i need to find the parentage of this hybrid if in fact that is the correct name...would appreciate some help.....the lip looks like stratiotes lip...think its an old hrbrid possibly primary ?????idk HELP

    I'm not seeing a Dendrobium North Star, but there are Cattleya, Epi, SC, LC, and even an Angraecum North Star.

    I actually did research on the net all of last night on stratiotes hybrids and found a pic..after further research the original owner and I came to the conclusion that it was a lovely form of the species called Den.leporinum..the owner actually just named it based on a stratiotes hybrid he saw in an old Sanders Hybrid book...he didn't know the name originally but as it resembled D.stratiotes he made the assumption to name it instead of leaving it as a NOID...thanks for the help though
