Cool Blc. Yen Corona 'Green Genie'

I sat this pot onto the large driftwood mount hoping it would attach, and it worked. This is the first new flowering and it seems to like it's new area. When the roots attach a little better the pot will be removed and the roots cleaned up. When it goes in the greenhouse this winter i'm going to put it into a bright area so the plants up top will bloom this winter.

I love the Blc Yen Corona 'Green Genie', the contrast of the white and pink on the green, fantastic.

Both of them are very pretty. I'll mount all my mini catts next time I 'repot'.

Wonderful blooms, your driftwood mounts are such a nice complement to those gorgeous orchids. Your in Florida, I am in Michigan. I don't know if I could get away with mounting on wood, but I did just try with my Den. lawsii bicolor. we'll see!

If you have trouble keeping up humidity for your mounted orchids, you can sit them into a clay pot that sits on a plate. You put an inch or two of water. It will help with aerial root growth. I can't wait to see your pictures.
