I did the toothbrush scrub and thankfully it is healthy once again. I'm guessing yours will fabulous again shortly...after all your plants are amazing! You need to post updated pictures of the vanda with the dreads.
I had so many orchids in bloom that I haven't been able to photograph. I'm just really swamped with work lately. In my little orchidarium I have so many miniature orchids blooming right now. I need someone with steady hands to come and photograph them. hahaha... And our monster vanda is really showing off. Last week I was in Chicago and missed the opening of a bunch of slippers that I've been growing from flask for several years. I need more hours in the day. hahaha...

my little stars is in bud now. it is planted in a 'tree' i made that also houses some other cattleya relatives (encyclia mostly) so i cannot move it into even more sun, but it seems ok. one stem, 4 buds. i bought another nodosa now to place in a another very bright spot, and a little r. digbyana that already has a sunburn by accident. my shade cloth arrangement may not bee too shady... it is near where the renanthera flowered last summer.

I am pretty sure it is Nodosa...just rather an excellent strain I was told. The nursery it comes from has a veteran group of growers, as in generations of the same family running it. Also; it has been shown to a gentleman that used to run the local orchid societies shows and has won a ton of AOS awards. If it is the little stars I would be surprised as I've never seen one the size of this plant. Honestly though, for me it doesn't matter. I just love the flowers and that exotic scent they give off.
