This is a discussion on My Cattleya-like Dendrobium (NoID) within the Cattleyas, Vandas, Dendrobiums IN BLOOM forums, part of the Orchid Photography category; Of all my dendrobiums, this is my favorite....
Of all my dendrobiums, this is my favorite.
Quite an interesting coloration for a den. Don't believe I've ever seen one with that color pattern before.
Lovely! Can see why it would be your favorite--- it would certainly be mine.
Very beautiful Dendrobium.
How unusual...and gorgeous! Very pretty and yes at first it looks like a cattleya. Lucky You!
very unique color, thanks for sharing
Nice delicate coloring. It does resemble a Cattleya more than most Dendrobiums do, partly because it is peloric, like a splash-petal Cattleya. The petals have taken on some of the color and texture of the lip, giving them pattern and waviness not usually seen in this type of Dendrobium.
a lots of colors in one.
