Not really, Zainal, but thank you anyway. These dends are vigorous growers and bloomers. The ones attached to trees in the photos don't get any fertilizer at all but all of them are watered every day.

Ya they get the natural fertilizer from the decaying bark as well as birds or insects waste anyway they adapted very well with your atmosphere.

You are right, Zain. I thought only soft cane dendrobiums look good attached to trees. Well, the hard cane ones look very much at home on trees too. And they are quite healthy there.

Thanks, Ed. I can see why you chose those two. And they would stand out in a sea of violet. Some others not included here are still putting forth buds. So more photos are coming!

Hi Kitty. I am happy that you draw inspiration from my dends. Most of my dends are mounted on ( not planted in) charcoal, bare-root. A number are attached directly on wood, while some still have the coconut husk around their roots, and then mounted on wood with the husk. And then there are those attached to trees, bare-root. Finally about 5 of them are planted in pots. In short, whatever and wherever is the available space, there is surely a dendrobium or some other orchid planted there.

Hi Joe. In my part of the country, and for most of the country actually, nobody seems to care much about names. Even the nurseries normally don't have names attached to the plants for sale. I'm not saying that it's good, but that's just the way it is over here. And when you begin using names, chances are the other orchid enthusiasts in your locale won't understand you anyway.
