Bl. Sunset Glory- ( Bl. Richard Mueller x L. purpurata ) I was able to get this plant this past June. It was in spike then, but both of the spikes blasted. This is the first time I have been able to see this one in bloom. I have four more new growths coming along nicely. Looks like this might be in bloom every 2 -3 months. I'm a Mueller addict ! The second photo shows the best color of what these blooms look like, even though the one bloom isn't fully open yet. Have Fun, Rich
This hybrid is beautiful!
As an Richard Mueller addict you may know if the spots are passed on to the next, the second hybrid generation after a Richard Mueller cross?
Horst, I have many Richard Mueller crosses but don't believe I have any that are second hybrid generation. I am unsure if it is passed on but I would suspect that a percentage of the offspring would be spotted.

Ron, Thanks for taking the time and answering my question.
I have some plants from one not registered Richard Mueller cross and I did try to make several second generation hybrids without luck until now.
That's why I'm curious.
Love the way this plant grows and blooms. So nice!
