I've had this plant for 3 years and it is a very slow grower. This is the first time it is blooming and though the colour is good there are no coerulea tesselations on the bloom. However there are lateral lines running down the length of the petals and sepals.Like most 'blue' orchids it is very difficult to capture the true colour of the blooms but the colour shown is quite close to the original colour. I have posted 2 pictures, one with frontal lighting and the other with back lighting just to show that the direction of light does affect the quality of the 'blue'.
'Blue' or not, it's marvelous. Congrats on blooming this.
The color is outstanding and the form is attractive. I look forward to the orchid pictures you post. Your orchids are always interesting and well grown.
