    Default Lc. Dakao 'Flammea Enami' BM/TOGA

    I am really pleased with the first flowering of this gorgeous little cattleya! Not only are the flowers a good size for such a little plant, but they've held their form for several weeks already. And the strong sweet/lemony scent is icing on the cake!

    Parents are: Flirtatious Okami x C. walkeriana. In the last photo you can see it seems to have bloomed like walkeriana, on a dedicated growth. Enjoy!

    Quite an interesting look this one has! The coloration did surprise me ... with "Flammea" in the name -- which looks a lot like "flame" -- I was expecting an orange/yellow or red flower.

    That streak of purple on white on the upper two petals look like they've been brushed onto the petals. Lovely.
