    Nice, Gin!

Such wonderful catt colors and form. My grandmother had several hundred catts in her greenhouse when she passed away in '85. I cared for them for several months (I was just out of college) while she was hospitalized, till we could arrange good homes. I've always loved them, but don't have many now. Largely a space thing. I have a few treasured mini-catts and two species that might finally be large enough to bloom this spring.

But the catt photos always bring back the nostalgia of my grandmother's greenhouse, my self-taught apprenticeship on her orchids while she was dying (if she knew, she'd have killed me before she died!) and my memories of all of those holiday corsages she brought us growing up.

    Thanks for the memories!
    Julie

Gin, it sure is lovely to see something so beautiful and to imagine the scent associated with it!

Julie... I love stories like that... it's makes orchid growing less of an addiction and more of a passionate human endeavour...

    Thanks Tim for the support,

...but all my passionate human endeavors are addictions.

There are clinical terms for this...

I don't think we want to know what the terms are... lol .
I do the same thing Julie . When I look at my orchids I think of my friend that taught me so much about them .
He is gone but not the wonderful memories . Gin

Beautiful pastel catt! And the sentimental stories that come along, touch me!

    All the best. Hoa.
