    I totally disagree with the name maybe the Botanist need to discuss again the Nomenclature, most of the plants with the name of "FOETIDA" usually associated with bad odor like Bulbophyllum foetida the smell is so terrible but this one the scent so different and would say as a nice no element than I'm going to vomit.     You are correct Mary so beautiful but in other flowers like Rhychostylish retusa the center exactly like beak of birds.

    Probably they collected from different localities as mine also from Sumatera I was told that the distribution of this vanda very odd some from the highland and the others from lowland probably that explained the different in color variations, Im not sure mine from high or low as the vendor never tell the truth.
