    Colorful indeed Zain. I am just so pleased that the vanda I've had for two years turned out to be an ascocenda. I never suspected it to be one because it's a big plant. Ascocendas have always been my favorite but somehow they never last very long under my care. Two years was the longest I remember. Maybe I'm just unlucky with them. This one has lasted two years already and the roots are very vigorous. So it might break the curse.

    Thanks, Mazlan. Another rescued vanda is also blooming for the first time in my care. Have to take photos of that one as soon as this monsoon downpour stops.

    Three weeks later, the ascocenda and mokara flowers are still fresh.

    Thanks, Beny. I just love red vandas. A lazy No ID red is now in bloom but I'm waiting for more flowers to open before I take some photos. I suspect it to be a Kagawara of some sort.
