Love dendrobiums, beautiful two tone
Almost a match to one of my NOID's.
A few weeks ago, I bought 3 new oncidium types from my grocery store and all were marked with names. None of the phals are marked there, ever.
I am really trying to not buy NoID's now. Impossible to avoid but trying.
My buying has slowed to a crawl now. Finally.
It is definitely dendrobium time...and you have a gorgeous one!
Gorgeous Dendrobium bigibbum/phal. type. These are incredible when they get mature and send out 5 or 6 spikes with a dozen or more on each spike. When I got married I purchased Den. phal. type cut flowers and did arrangements for my wife, the bride's maids and table centerpieces. The arrangements lasted over a month. Almost unheard of for any cut orchid spike. Add to it the fact that they were shipped from Hawaii to central Pennsylvania.
Lovely and beautiful pink splashes.
