    I really like Trick Or Treat. It is also a very good parent. There are some very nice things coming from using this.

    I've seen a few pics of its crosses recently Wade & yes, some nice stuff. Some not so nice stuff also, to me anyway. Aparrently there is some question in parts of the USA suggesting the original 'Orange Magic' clone isn't a T or T. Have you heard anything along these lines?? It is awarded, AOS.

    No, Roy, I haven't heard anything about a 'bogus' clone of 'Orange Magic'. That doesn't mean that there's no truth in it. There is also the possibility of a change in the plant during the meristem procedure. I'm not sure if anyone has determined what to do with that. This can happen easily if colchicine is used to induce polyploid plants.

    Best of luck with it!!! If you are familiar with Fred Clarke's work on Cattleyas you will see he is using Trick Or Treat in some of his new breeding. Wish we lived close enough that Cites didn't interfere with sharing things

    The Catt I'm thinking of using is just coming out. Its a seedling 1st flowering but I think the parentage will lend a lot to this T or T. Will post soon & explain why.
