All cultivars of Blc Chunyeah are beautiful, and yours is no exception - at the last count there were 19 recognised cultivars of Chunyeah (that I know of) but arguably the prettiest of the lot is the var 'Tsen Wen'. Unforunately it is the most difficult to grow well and I had 2 that died under my care. The plant is very delicate, in contrast with most Chunyeahs which are very robust. The plant 'Tsen Wen' is only half the size of 'normal' Chunyeahs. I had the good fortune to meet up with the originator of Chunyeah from Taiwan during the 20 World Orchid Conference in Singapore in 2011, and they had the most awesome display of various cultivars of Chunyeah but the one with the most lovely blooms was the var Tsen Wen on a puny plant. I had a chat with the proprietor and she agreed that it was the most difficult plant to grow well but the blooms made it all worth the extra effort to grow and bloom it, I hope to acquire another one, one of these days, if I can find one.

After reading your post I googled the 'Tsen Wen' and other cultivars. They are very beautiful. Thanks for the information.
