This is my first vanda orchid I have acquired from a local nursery. According to the name tag it came with, it is a coerulea hybrid.
The flowers were purple in the beginning but as you can see from the photos they have turned more blue. This orchid now sits in my brightest window and enjoying our Spring weather in the southern hemisphere.
Lovely blue - nice tessellations and spots.
It's such a gorgeous color and a beautiful plant.
This vanda is absolutely stunning. I put this on my wish list, as it is exactly the color I want. Enjoy its beauty.
Yes, this orchid is just lovely! I can see myself buying a few more vandas in future though hehehe:
Kdennis14, you will love this orchid for sure!
I know I will, IF I can find one.
Have a great day,
This orchid is really nice. I happened to get one about a year ago and am growing it on a piece of cypress wood. Has grown roots like mad, but no blooms yet. Maybe in our spring.
