Beautiful dens! I believe many of these dens are NoID unless traced back to the breeder. I have inquired of our local orchid farms/nurseries even here in my country and they do not have all the names to the den hybrids...

I hear you but how do you know how to provide the correct culture if you don't know what it is?

I know the types of orchids i have-Vanda-Oncidium-Phal-Cymbidium etc etc--I just don;t know the individual names of them in a lot of cases-Plus i also ask the grower of the orchids i buy as to the best conditions for it to be grown in if im unsure--most are easy to know how and also why i joined this Forum, so those who have an idea what an orchids name is can help if known.

I asked as I had one I would have bought at my local grocery but it had no label. I think it may have been a Laelia. But I didn't know so I passed on it even though it was a beautiful flower. The leaves were not ones I recognized the type of orchid from. And I didn't want to buy it to find out it wants a different culture from what I provide.

RavenMike, I agree with you. I really do not care either. I just want them to be happy and cared for. I have not lost any yet, but only been growing since last May.
